Vegueros Mananitas
Yup, you guess it; time for another small Cuban cigar review. This time it is the el cheapo Habanos SA brand, Vegueros, that is the topic of today's review. The Mananitas is a petite torpedo that is 4.25 inches long and comes in at a 46 ring gauge, it is pretty stout thickness for a cigar of this length.
The Vegueros brand consistently has a price point below $100 USD and are delivered in tins of 16 for the trouble. The brand's other consistently found offering is the Entretiempos which has the same length but comes in with a ring gauge of 52 and is a petite robusto.
Wrapper: Cuba
Binder: Cuba
Filler: Cuba
Length: 4 1/4"
Ring Gauge: 46
Size: Petite Torpedo
The Smoke: For a lower cost cigar, the construction is decent. The cold draw has elements of wood and nuts. The lit draw adds some earth and peppery spice. Overall, the flavors are not over whelming. The body is medium with a mild nicotine buzz. The construction mostly holds for the 35 minute smoke. Some of the leaves began to come loose but it did not come apart. The burn rate was even. Perfect smoke to begin the day.
The Score: Buy a Box of 20
