Aganorsa Leaf Guardian of the Farm Nightwatch Lonsdale

Aganorsa Leaf Guardian of the Farm Nightwatch Review

Aganorsa Leaf Guardian of the Farm Nightwatch pays tribute to all our canine companions and specifically for Aganorsa, the dogs that have been security guards to the tobacco farms over the years. This line of cigars from Aganorsa Leaf is Nicaraguan puros with all elements of the cigar from the country. The leaf is a light tan shaded Corojo maduro leaf from the Jalapa area of Nicaragua. The binder is also Corojo and the filler tobacco is Criollo from Esteli and Jalapa.

This line of cigars is offered as a Lonsdale vitolla, which is what this review is based on, along with a short robusto, robusto, and toro sizes. These cigars run around $9 USD per stick from online retailers.

Aganorsa Leaf Guardian of the Farm Night Watch Review

The Smoke: This one was enjoyed on my back porch during a humid, hot, hazy, and lazy Saturday afternoon. The leaf of the cigar was oily and smelled great with nice floral aromas. The cigar feels well-built when being held. The cap came off with little effort using the straight cutter.

After toasting and lighting, the cigar had flavors of leather and cedar. Light pepper and earth made its way in about halfway through the smoke. The smoke was light, and the profile of the cigar was medium bodied.

The cigar held its construction well along with an enjoyable draw during the entire hour-long smoke. One area that I thought was deficient was that the burn rate was slightly uneven on the sample I smoked.
